My first reaction to hearing about the existance of mortal vampires was
simply that they were blood fetishists or into BDSM.
I mean let's face it,
the idea of real vampires,
is not something "normal" people believe in.
I have never believed in the immortal variety of vampire and still do not.
*** was the first mortal vampire I had met.
My initial reaction,
without talking to her was,
"Hey, whatever she's into is her business and doesn't affect me."
Over the months I've discovered by talking with people in Les Vampires
that there is another kind of vampire,
what I would call a "natural vampire"
that is born with the hunger.
These vampires are not always happy with their plight and desire a normal life.
How I feel today:
I understand that mortal or natural vampires exist.
The cause of their situation has yet to be determined.
If there is a physical condition that can be remedied
I hope it will be found for my friends.
If it is a mental condition
(which generally means a condition acquired AFTER BIRTH)
treatments can be found
[this investigation should be started with hypnosis].
I feel compassion for my friends that wish to be free of this condition.
For my friends, that don't want to cure this condition
I still feel it is their business and no one else's as long as their donors are willing.
I still do not believe in immortal vampires
and shall never believe in them.
