The vampire archetype has always been dual-faced. In variations in a theme, they manifest as the seducer or the predator, spanning the animalistic and terrifying to the desirable and magical. Recent trends have been towards presenting the vampire less as an evil figure and more as a complicated, ambiguous one. Be as it may, so long as the
